Join ARTLOG and GREY AREA for our Summer Art Pass Soho Party & Talk. Taste wine from  VITIS.com , sample   refreshments from Bai5 Antioxiant Infusions, and discuss the amazing career paths of three industry leaders: Karen Wong, Deputy Director of the New Museum; Sara Friedlander, VP in the Post-War and Contemporary Department at Christie’s; and Ben Davis, Executive Editor of Artinfo.com.

Karen     Wong   is the Deputy Director of the New Museum and co-founded the Festival of Ideas for New City. She founded Hobbamock Design, a Boston-based graphic design firm committed to non-profits and social causes. In the new millennium, she sold her firm, and moved to London to become Managing Director of Adjaye/Associates a young architectural practice that grew from 5 to 35 people during her six-year tenure.    Ms.   Wong   sits on the Board of Directors at Storefront for Art and Architecture and APEX, a nonprofit providing educational support to underserved Asian youth.

Sara Friedlander is a VP in the Post-War and Contemporary Department at Christie’s and the Head of the biannual Afternoon Sale in New York.  For the past three years she has been the head of the First Open Sale geared toward young collectors of contemporary art.  Also an auctioneer, Sara has been with Christie’s for the past six years.  Prior to her work with the auction house she worked at the Rose Art Museum and the Lucas Schoormans Gallery.

Ben   Davis  is a writer and art critic living in New York. He is currently executive editor of  Artinfo.com , where he writes “Interventions,” a column about art and politics, and “The Art Lover,” a less frequent column of love advice.
