ELISABETH KLEY

Elisabeth Kley is a New York artist and writer who works in ceramics, watercolors, drawings and prints. Kley's glazed work recall arabesques, organic vignettes, manuscript illuminations, presenting the viewer a richly variegated cross-culturalism that blurs history, lineage, global politics and identities for a generation of global, aesthete-nomads in pursuit of an eclectic and mutable beauty. She has exhibited solo at John Tevis Gallery in Paris, France, Georgian National Gallery in Tbilisi, Le Petit Versailles and Rose Burlingham in New York. She has been featured in The New York Times, Artnews, Artnet and Paris Capitale.
